This is a reality that organisations would face eventually, old employees giving way to the new ones.

Some exits occur as a result of the employee not meeting up with organisational goals, settings and objectives, or the inability of the organisation to handle the financial responsibilities needed to keep the employee, sometimes it can also be as a result of the employee getting a better offer.

It is the duty of the Human Resources department to handle the exit procedures to ensure a proper handing over and a smooth transition from one employee to another.

There is a lot to learn from handling the exit procedure of an employee, the process can be highly beneficial in ascertaining certain areas that need improvement in an organization, thus it must be handled with care.
